The much antisipated 6th birthday has finally come. Laney asked to get her ears peirced so "when is my birthday?" has been the only topic discussed in weeks. I took cupcakes to her class on friday and she was a little more shy than I expected. Then a few friends rode home on the bus with her and we went bowling. Let's just say that 10 frames is a bit much for 6 & 7 years olds. On Saturday we took her and Britain to Boise on a date. She picked out the cutest pink flower earrings and didn't act like the peircing hurt at all. We had a wonderful afternoon minus the little brother and sister.
To top it all off we had her and Brynlee's dance recital Saturday night and it was quite intersting. THe girls did great and we were very proud. Sunday (her actual bday) was spent with family and all together Laney had a great birthday weekend. I will be glad next year when her birthday lands on a monday and we can do it all in one day:)
