Our Easter festivities lasted all weekend and ended with way to much candy! We spent friday afternoon at Grandma Junie's with the Hartley bunch. We had an amazing easter egg hunt and Grandma Brenda put together some awesome gift bags for the kids to go home with. She also sat them down and talked about what the true meaning of Easter is and it was very special and a much needed reminder.
Saturday morning was the 4H cow hollow Easter egg hunt, put on by Julie and her 4H kids. They do such a great job and the park is blocked off into age categories so all the kids have a good time. This is a picture of Kellen and his buddy Porter. I said smile for the picture and Kellen put his bucket on the ground and put his foot in it, so of course Porter did the same. They are so funny together.
Easter morning was very fun, but I was most fond of the kids Easter clothes. Barry has made fun of me enough about dressing the girls alike, that now I just color coordinate. I love, love, love Kellen's big boy tie and cant believe how grown up our kids are getting. We had Easter lunch with the Skeen's and had another candy filled hunt. I swear all this Easter candy has been the death of my healthy eating.
