I really can't believe that my oldest baby is now 7! She is our amazing little toothless wonder. Being the oldest child means she is our poor little trial and error candidate, whether she likes it or not. Laney is an amazing little woman, who has the attitude of a teenager sometimes. She loves to negotiate, which we are trying hard to curb, but she definatley knows what she wants and trys hard to get it. She is such a good helper and is great at putting away her laundry, unloading the dishwasher, watching her little brother and sister, and vacuuming. She loves animals and does well with responsibility. When Laney grows up she wants a big red barn full of animals. So to show us she has taken it upon herself to feed our animals everyday. We have two rabbits, two cats, four brand new kittens, and two dogs. I feel like a regualar wild life preserve, but Laney loves it. For her birthday we went to Monkey Business with four friends. They had inflatables and a jungle gym where the girls had a great time. Monday was her actual birthday and Grandma Merlyn told Laney she would make anything she wanted so we had salmon, artichokes, and mint dessert. I am often wowed by her taste buds. She got to open presents with grandpa Mark and grandma Brenda later that night and was a total goof ball as she enjoyed having the two of them all to herself. We sure love our Laney girl and are blessed to have her be our oldest daughter!
